The adults at Pleasant View are friendly, God-loving people. We offer about three small group adult classes that rotate on a quarterly basis, and offer a chance to delve deeper into the word of God, as well as creating bonds with each other. These are some of the best classes you will find, and range from in-depth book studies, to difficult passages, to marriage and evangelism. Come join in one of the classes and broaden your spiritual understanding with us.
| Becoming a Christian |
| We
are saved by grace through our response of faith, believing that Jesus
is the Son of God, that He died and took the penalty of our sins on
Himself, and that He was raised from the dead on the third day by
the power of God. Every person capable of faith is called by God to
believe in Jesus as their Savior, repent for sin in their life, make
a public confession of faith that Jesus is Lord, and be joined to
Christ and His Church by being Baptized (immersed) in his name. Having
made this response of faith, all sin in forgiven and we receive the
gift of God's Holy Spirit. |
